Q. Do we offer try on’s?

Yes. We offer local try on’s each day of the week.

Postal try on’s are not always possible but we will try our best to help.

Q What happens if the dress does not suit or fit me?

Our fit guarantee has you covered.

Q. Do you have damage waiver for customers?

No. In over 5 years of running LOVE ME RENT ME the damage to our dresses is so small each year that we don’t feel that this extra cost to our customers is necessary to charge.

Q. What happens if you cannot supply my rental?

We never want this to happen. If it is out of our control like a dress being damaged or not returned from last hire we will never leave telling you to the last minute.

In 5 years of running our website this happening is very rare because of the efforts we make. If it does we will fully refund you.

Q. What date should I book my rental for online and when will I receive it?

Please book date of wearing or if you are travelling the day before you leave. It is our job to get out as early as we can for you normally 1-4 days before event.

Q. What day is the cut off for weekend hires?

Hire early is our suggestion as this allows us to get out earlier in the week. We send with overnight couriers so this service can allow for late hires when needed.

Q. How can I talk to someone?

We are available daily. Text or call us. There is always someone to chat to within normal working hours.

Q. Would you consider buying a dress in another size for me?

It could be possible that we are already considering this. Just ask us.

Q. I have found a dress online that I love but no one rents it n NZ would you consider buying it for your rental business?

Yes – please send a link to us so that we can see if it is one we would also be keen on for our collection.

Q. What does the $15.00 shipping cover?

This cost covers 2 overnight couriers who deliver and collect from your home or work address. The Team at NZ couriers go out of their way for us to make sure our wearers get there hire safely and timely then back to us the same way. Because of this service we have an incredible track record of not letting our hires down.

Q. What happens if my event is cancelled or I want to cancel a hire? Can I get a refund?

A question we know well with covid affecting many hires over the last 2 years. If you have a cancellation to make within a period of 14 days before the date of hire we will keep a credit here to use with no expiry. If it is outside of this period we can refund.

Q. What condition are your rentals in?

Very good. Information on condition will be noted under Fit on the dress product page or we will notify you if any damage has happened from last hire.

Q. Are you a sustainable business?

We are trying to be. More can be read on the About Us page.

Q. Do late fees apply if I return my dress late?

Late fees do apply if we receive the hire back late with no contact from the renter. For out of town hires, please read the return information card supplied so you understand the timing.

Local hires are due back the day after wear.
