Refund policy

Return & Refund Policy (Dress Hire)

Because Love Me Rent Me is a dress hire (rental) service, our return and refund policy is a little different from a standard retail store. Please read the information below carefully before placing your booking.

1. Bookings & Payments

All bookings are for a fixed hire period. Once your booking is confirmed, the dress and dates are reserved exclusively for you and removed from availability. For this reason, once your hire period has begun, the hire fee is non-refundable.

2. Cancellations & Changes

  • If your event is cancelled, we can offer a refund through the website, provided you give us at least 14 days’ notice before your event date.

  • Please notify us as soon as possible so we can make the dress available for other customers to hire.

  • Please include your order number or booking details when contacting us so we can help you faster.

  • Cancellations made within 14 days of the event date are not refundable, as the dress has been reserved and removed from availability.

  • Date changes are subject to availability.

3. Fit Issues

We do our best to provide clear sizing information and fit advice. If you’re unsure about sizing, we recommend contacting us before booking or using our try-on options (where available).

If the fit isn’t quite right, this will be handled in line with our Fit & Wear Guarantee. Refunds are not guaranteed for fit issues, especially where sizing advice or try-on options were not used.

4. Shipping Issues

If your dress is unable to be supplied due to an issue on our end (for example, damage in transit or an unexpected quality issue), we will offer you:

  • A replacement dress (if available), or

  • A full refund

We are not responsible for delays caused by courier services once an item has been dispatched, but we will always do our best to assist where possible.

5. Returns & Late Returns

  • Returns must be made strictly according to the instructions provided with your order. These instructions will be supplied and attached to your return bag.

  • Dresses must be returned on time as per your hire period. Collection is scheduled for the first working day after your hire so the dress is returned to us overnight.

  • Late fees will apply if a dress is returned late, as this can affect upcoming bookings. Late fees are charged per dayuntil the item is returned.

  • Using the wrong return service or not following the supplied instructions may result in delays, additional charges, or the item being lost in transit.

6. Damage, Loss & Dress Protection

  • Normal wear is expected and covered by your hire.

  • Any significant damage, heavy staining, or loss of the item may result in additional charges for repair or replacement.

  • If you have selected Dress Protection at checkout, this may help cover minor accidental damage as outlined in that policy.

7. Change of Mind

Because this is a rental service, we do not offer refunds for change of mind once a booking has been confirmed and the hire period is approaching or has begun.
