📦 Shipping & Returns Policy – Love Me Rent Me

NZ-Wide Overnight Shipping

We use NZ Couriers non-rural overnight service to deliver your hire in time for your event. Orders are scheduled to arrive before your selected event date or the date you’ve told us you need the dress by.

Important: No Rural Addresses

To make sure your dress arrives on time, we do not ship to rural addresses. Rural deliveries can take longer and may delay your order, so please enter a non-rural (urban) address at checkout.

If a rural address is entered, we may need to contact you to arrange an alternative delivery address or pickup option.

NZ Couriers Depots & Agents

NZ Couriers has depots and agents throughout New Zealand, which helps us provide fast, reliable nationwide delivery.

Delivery Timing

  • We schedule your order to arrive before your event or required date.

  • You don’t need to worry about sending it early — we manage the timing for you.

  • While we always aim for overnight delivery, courier delays outside our control can occasionally occur.

Questions or Unsure About Your Address?

If you’re unsure whether your address is rural or want to double-check delivery options, please get in touch with us before placing your order and we’ll be happy to help.

Return Instructions

  • Return instructions will be supplied with your order and will be taped to your return bag. Please read and follow these carefully then remove from bag. 

  • Do not return your dress via standard post or a different courier service. This is not the correct return method and may result in the dress being delayed or lost.

  • You may drop the return to an NZ Couriers agent or depot, but we must supply the correct return address and instructions. There are multiple courier and postal services, and if the dress is returned via the wrong service, it may be lost or significantly delayed.

Collection Option

  • We organise a collection from your home or workplace.

  • To arrange this, please text us your collection details before the first working day after your wear date.

Important Notes

  • It is your responsibility to follow the return instructions provided.

  • Using the wrong return service or failing to follow the supplied instructions may result in delays, additional charges, or the item being lost in transit.

  • Please contact us if you are unsure about any part of the return process — we’re happy to help.

Late Returns

  • Late fees will apply if a dress is returned late, as this can affect upcoming bookings. 

  • The late fee will be charged for each day the item is overdue until it is returned.

  • If you think your return may be delayed for any reason, please contact us as soon as possible so we can try to help.

  • Dresses must be returned on time as per your hire period. Collection is scheduled for the first working day after your hire so the dress is returned to us overnight.
